This is what the second "tower" of pediatric research will look like: the rendering

Decidedly less tall, but equally important: the rendering of the second "Research Tower" has been unveiled, which will rise on Corso Stati Uniti next to the existing tower of the Pediatric Research Institute, linked to the City of Hope Foundation.
The second "Tower" will consist of three raised floors of approximately 2,600 square meters each and will be connected to the existing Tower. The ground floor will house a large parking lot and a canteen seating 450 people, while the other three levels will not only house the new laboratories of the Pediatric Research Institute—which employs over 200 researchers—but also the University's Microbiology laboratories, which would therefore be relocated. A Cell Factory will be built inside, a laboratory specializing in the production of cells for therapeutic purposes. The Pediatric Research Institute, the University (with Deputy Pro-Rector Antonio Parbonetti as coordinator), the Hospital Trust, the Region, and the Cariparo Foundation are working together on the project. The first stone could be laid as early as next month, with the hope of completing the work by the end of 2026.
